Traffic cones get no respect

They are meant to be noticed and avoided. But often, traffic cones get run over and displaced. And it is then, ironically, when down and out of place, everybody really notices them.

It's like life online.

The photo above has obviously been altered. Many things online are.

Today was #dfmchat day and we talked about how to deal with social media fails. It's worth a look if you're ever online.

People online can be mean, including yourself.  Better go under the cone of silence.

This young journalist received good training. Journalists need to roll with the punches.
I'm always surprised about how thin-skinned some journalists are online (though, to be frank, I usually react like this. I can be mean too.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
We have to get better. These are our lives, not an act.

The Four:
* This guy wants to be mayor of Kingston, though third parties get no respect.
* These losers are coming to town. Respect.
* This guy is flying.
* Ulster County wants you to take a selfie.

NEVER FORGET.

One cat:

Yesterday's Internet, Today! doesn't let friends take selfies.
